Your thought on the youngins is 100% true. Oh I miss my early college years
reminds me of my first trip to New Orleans... in College, definitely under 21. They would look at my ID, look at me, and say, come on in.

If you want a sure thing(no-not me y'all are soooooo single minded )go ahead and book one of the Marriott properties-BUT book a cancelable rate because the rates are sure to drop as we get closer.
And yes-I think al lunch/dinner would be lovely.

Have the Marriott booked and also using a stay one night get the second certificate. Hopefully the lounge has free water to keep me hydrated in between cocktails lol!!! Is anyone going to see Lady Bunny or Shirley Q Liquor. I have not seen either, I am so sheltered :=D I think we are arriving on Thursday so I can go to the Chi Chil Larue kick off party.

Hey guys,
This will be my 6th Decadence and cannot wait!
If you are looking to do it on a budget, me and my buddy booked a room at the Comfort Inn and Suites on bookit.com for 6 nights for a total of $245.91 for all 6 nights!! Every 3rd night is free and 25% off entire stay. It is about a 10 to 15 minute walk to the gay section, but you really can't beat $245 for 6 nights for 2 people and 2 double beds. Let me know if anyone else will be there and we can do the walk of shame home together!

I was in New Orleans last weekend and had a blast. I always stay at The Place d' Armes hotel at 625 St. Ann. I have stayed there every time I've been to NOLA. It's the best. Have fun guys! www.placedarmes.com

Some friends stayed there once and liked the hotel, but did not like that their room had no windows.

I booked Hampton Inn @ Downtown French Quarter for SD back in April.

Any idea would this be an acceptable location?

I may be heading down there that weekend too - one of my friends is dying to go, so he's looking around for a good airfare from NYC.

Another plus will be to meet up with fun FT'ers^ Add me to the potential 'list'!
