Turkey and Croatia?
Hi all, are Turkey and Croatia pleasant destinations for LGBT travelers? Has anyone had any experiences?

I just got back from Istanbul. There is quite a large gay scene there, but it's mostly underground. The gays convene in three types of places: (1) bars/cafes, which are mostly located around the buys and popular Taksim square; (2) certain hamams, which you can find at turkishbathguide.com; and (3) online apps such as grindr, scruff, etc. PDAs are not socially acceptable. But apart grom the gay scene, Istanbul and Turkey are lovely and amazing places and you shouldn't miss the opportunity to visit.

I've been to Istanbul and Dubrovnik with a group of gay friends and had a pleasant and wonderful time in both.

We didn't try to explore the gay nightlife though.

Croatia has a lot of destinations within it. where are you going and what are you looking for
