Sort of OT here.. but once when I was at CPH airport, I was selected to be patted down..
Then I noticed the HUNK that was doing the pat down... oh my Gawd, I kept thinking..!
Search me again!

Yawn. I think the TSA has more of a communications/PR problem than actual policies. But the masses seem to be against any special treatment for frequent flyers

Reminds me of a story a friend told me. Upon arriving in France, he was selected for a more thorough examination by customs. The hunky customs guy asked, in his imperfect English, "May I control you now?" My friend liked that a lot.
(the French verb "controler" means "to inspect")

Yes CPH sports some of the sexiest security staff, strangely enough during a lengthy lay over I left the SK lounge surprisingly often to go out for a smoke only to come back through security (and they can speak proper English, something TSA agents have yet to aspire to)

I have travelled in a kilt before, as it's such a heavy garment that it's difficult to pack unless you are taking a lot of luggage. The problem is that if you wear all the accoutrements (sporran, belt, etc) there's a lot of metal to remove before you go through security. I did, and went through the scanner un-binged, and so the question of how to search me didn't come up.
I have worn it to a circuit event where there was a pat-down for everyone entering, and the security guy took one look at me and waved me through without checking me. Which was a bit of shame, really...
