Question Hamburg - Radisson or Mariott or Hyatt?

I've read on goldpoints forum that Radisson is sort of run down. Are their business class rooms any good?

Would Mariott or Hyatt have a lounge or club with breakfast / evening snacks and drinks? AFAIK Radisson typically doesn't have anything like that.

Other alternative might be Le Merridien. I could make use in terms of miles, points or non-level hotel cards with Radisson, Mariott or SPG. Unfortunately no Hilton in the area.

Don't think the Luxury Hotels forum is the best place for this question considering that none of the hotels you mentioned are really considered "luxury" properties. You might want to check the Germany forum under the Travel & Dining section or you might try searching the individual hotel chain forums for specific information about the hotels and then compare the information yourself. The hotel chain specific forums would also be more likely to have info on club floors and lounges at the hotels. I would consider the Hyatt and the LeMeridien the best among the several you mentioned. Both hotels are more modern in decor.

Park Hyatt is luxury, Meridien semi, Radisson & Mariott not

In Hamburg, stay for luxury:
- either at the Park Hyatt, which is a luxury hotel indeed, but with no view at all
- or at Vier Jahreszeiten, which is old fashioned, but with fantastic Binnen Alster Lake View

stay for semi-luxury:
- at the Side Hotel which is a cool designed luxury hotel with no view
- at Le Meridien, which has fantastic Aussen Alster Lake View

don't stay:
- at Atlantic, which has good view, but lousy rooms
- at Radisson, which has good view, but is in fact only 3 Star feeling
- at Mariott, which sucks like everywhere

both Park Hyatt and Fairmont (former Raffles) are well regarded in the Luxury Hotels forum, although one poster gave more mixed reviews to Raffles.

Park Hyatt does, which is somewhat unusual for that brand IIRC.

Steigenberger = 4 star feeling

Vier Jahreszeiten = Fairmont Hotel/Ex-Raffles
Steigenberger is no luxury hotel, but ok for shortterm business stays...
