My favourite place for breakfast in Dusseldorf is Confiserie Otto Bittner at Carlsplatz 20/21


The tourist office in the centre of town runs a pretty good walking tour - I've never been on the English tours but have done this tour three times and it has been somewhere between good and superb every time:
