Anniversary in MUC airport

Due to time zones and my flight times, My wife and I leave USA before our anniversary day and arrive in India after our anniversary day ! And I have 7 hours in MUC. Need suggestions on where I can have a nice meal in the airport. I am assuming Terminal 2 because I cannot leave the International Transit area. (ALSO can you let me know which is the best LH lounge there. I have STAR GOLD so except the FIRST CLASS lounge, everything else seems to be accessible)

The Airbrau is nice. The full-sized restaurant/brewery is between the two terminals (past immigration), but they have a little satellite restaurant in terminal 2 in the non-Schengen gate area.

7 hours is a long time and you could actually go downtown quite easily in that span of time. Is there a reason why you do not want to just clear German immigration? It usually takes all of about 1 minute. MUC has always been very efficient for me.

Since the OP used the term 'cannot', I would presume that Pgur and/or his spouse holds a passport which would require a visa to visit Germany.

I agree that Airbrau is a reasonable choice, although unfortunately not quite where one would choose to spend their anniversary. If you have dietary restrictions, the menu does have fish, poultry, and vegetarian options, although it does, not surprisingly in Southern Germany, have a lot of pork and beef options.

If you cannot leave the international transit area you are confined to Level 5 (H) and there isn't much choice but this one sounds promising if you like fish.

The only LH lounges you have access to will be the Senator and Business lounges on Level 5. Go to the Senator lounge which is nicer but if I remember correctly showers are in the Business lounge.

If you can access the G level, I also recommend Dallmayer for coffee & cake. It' right nearby the security screening area and a traditional Munich Coffee making place with excellent cake, etc. So go there for dessert or in the afternoon!

Now thatīs romantic: spending your anniversary with your partner in the shower. Do you need any more? :-)
