Does having casino credit increase comp offers
I was reading articles some dated some more recent. They were saying that establishing casino credit get you better comps than just bring cash.
Has anyone had experience with this and is it true?
Thanks

I don't think it's as big a deal as it used to be - unless you're talking about a very large line. The casinos used to use it as a gauge of how much you gambled. Everything is now fairly well computerized through their players cards/clubs so it's not used as it once was. Again - unless you're talking about a very large sum.
That being said, I have one in the casinos I frequent. It's much easier than carrying a large sum of cash or hitting an ATM.

As LOCommish says, by itself not much of an impact.
But, if you have multiple (active) lines of credit, it can help to correlate you story when you reach out to a new casino.
Recently had that situation. Received an email many months earlier from a property I had not been to in years. Was in Vegas, replied to the email on a whim. Host reached out to me, re-opened my credit line and offered some nice comps prior to a visit.
Did the credit line make it happen by itself? Absolutely not. But, when a host tries to get you to "stop over" and wants to offer "things," it is rather effective when they can say... "I got you approved for $xxxx," come by and try things out.
Of course, my caveat, is that casino credit can be "very dangerous" in Vegas; more so than in any other gaming venue.
