Another alternative: one time due to poor planning I had a $100 coupon expiring that day, solo trip (usually have friends along to help consume comps ), leaving after breakfast. It's hard to use up $100 at breakfast! I asked the waiter if he could pick up the checks of some of the nearby tables too. Made a lot of new friends

I am currently staying a week at PH as founders Diamond and no resort fees is great.
I was able to use my 100dollar dinner to purchase 2 buffets for my and my guest.
The PH Diamond lounge was nice. I read some awful reviews about it.. but for what is it.. it is perfectly fine. Nice place to relax and get some more free drinks and snacks.
Paid 400 for Diamond.
Received 100 credit dinner
waived resort fees and all comp'd nights.
38.00 daily resort fee x 5 = 190
average price if you are lucky to book 5 nights at PH is around 360 sunday-thursday
Got 2 tickets for a show but didn't have anytime to use them.
Founders upgrade to Diamond for 400 is well worth it.
Pro Tip. You need to get founders and give them at least 8 weeks to upgrade you to Diamond. So plan ahead of time and purchase your founders membership at least 2 months before your trip. And make sure you "Redeem" the diamond upgrade right away on the founders site.

Best I show right now is the $495 deal. Maybe some discounts later this year, but the longer you wait the more you lose out. I've stayed 6 nights so far this year and used my $100 food voucher, so call it almost $300 in value so far this year.

If this is your first time redeeming this benefit: Please allow the full 3 weeks for your upgrade to be processed. If after that time you have not received notification or see your status change in your online account please contact FoundersCard Members Services.

This thread has been very helpful. I found it while researching diamond in a day which could have cost me thousands. I signed up for FoundersCard about a month before I went to Vegas with a friend who had comped nights at the Mandalay Bay. I wanted to play a little at CET in hopes for discounts on future rooms but my luck was poor so I ended up losing patience and about $120. I was sure to take a tour of the diamond lounges which are very nice though. The week after arriving back home I saw my Total Rewards account online showed comp nights at most Caesars properties for the next 12 months! I was able to get 4 nights at caesars, 5 nights over New Years and 5 nights during CES. This total is $6000 in value makes the FoundersCard my greatest $400 bet yet!

I tried to take advantage of the "Quest for rewards", playing 25 TC at Paris, PH and the Linq. I played it all over the course of a couple of hours and ended up with 88TC total. I was an existing TR member but had not been inside any of their casinos since 2008 or so. I wish I knew more about how I qualified for the comps, but it seems it wasnt based on my losses/wins.

When I signed up I was in the same boat, I had a Vegas visit coming up in about a month and was worried my application would not go through in time. It turned out to be less than a two week turnaround time and I had my Diamond card in hand 5 minutes after walking in the door at Caesars.
