Caesars Total Rewards - New Way to Earn Tier Credits

I just got this in an email:

"Earn Tier Status even faster when you stay, dine, shop and relax.

As of April 1st, we've improved the way you earn. Receive 1 Tier Credit for every $1 spent on our hospitality offerings. So, be sure to present your Total Rewards card for everything you do and get closer to the next level of status and benefits.

Participating hotel, restaurant, retail, spa, golf and outlets at Total Rewards resort and casino only. Visit Total Rewards online for more information."

Total Rewards website says you earn Tier Credits by:

"Hotel
Earn 1 Tier Credit for every $1.00 (NEW!) spent on hotel accommodations.

Dining
Earn 1 Tier Credit for every $1.00 (NEW!) spent at any of our participating restaurants.

Shopping
Earn 1 Tier Credit for every $1.00 (NEW!) spent at participating retail outlets.

I confirmed with Total Rewards that online purchases through their TR Marketplace do not count.

So, what can we purchase at these casinos, then re-sell for a reasonable return while racking up the Tier Credits?

I know this is an old thread, but I was wondering for the dining, how do we know what restaurants are participating for tier credits?

Charge everything to the room. Settle the bill with RCs or whatever at checkout. The link below has proven to not always be up to date (old restaurants are listed), but for the most part it is accurate for earning.

Are dining tier credit's multiplied? i.e. Picking up a $5k tab = Diamond in a Day? That seems far too easy. I also noticed King Baby on the list at Caesars, kind of interesting that my wallet chain could have gotten me diamond.

Yes, but the points take a couple of days to show up, so you gotta make sure you cross that threshold.

Awesome, thanks for the quick response. I'll attempt to make it a single transaction (meal).

Just don't forget you gotta be staying there and charging to your room to get your points.

I will be staying there. I was assuming that paying with a TR-Visa would have the same effect as charging to my room. Although, with some thought, charging to the room and paying with a CSR would probably be a smarter way to double-dip.

Are you sure you earn Tier Credits when you pay with Reward Credits? Why would you receive Tier Credits from what is a comp?

You're probably accurate. I burned off a few RCs last trip and settled the balance with my card, but I didn't check to see how much that may have affected. It wouldn't be far fetched as I believe Caesars Palace was one of the last places you could earn tier credits in from free play before they cut that off, but I would lean towards you being correct with this. Thanks for mentioning that!
