Most of the casinos in Shreveport/Bossier now have $3 craps, blackjack and roulette.

Well I'm off to Reno/Tahoe on Labor Day for four nights for my next cheap gambling adventure. Any recommendations in the spirit of this thread there?
I'm going to do another spur of the moment adventure - just stopping where I feel like it any given night. I have a feeling I will end up in South Lake Tahoe for most of the trip since there are plenty of cheap places to stay within walking distance of the Stateline casinos. I'm guessing crowds won't be much of an issue after labor day.
Might do a drive through Yosemite - not sure if I have enough time to justify the miles. Anything that way worth stopping at?
I'll probably stay in Reno the last night to be able to catch my noonish flight.

Reno has tons of low limit gambling. S. Lake Tahoe - not so much. Montbleu I suppose, but Harrah's and Harvey's are not "cheap" unless you go at like....6AM.Originally Posted by tev9999

If you've never been to Yosemite, you should go. Well worth the drive IMO.

I'm a midweek gambler who just returned from black hawk, central city and cripple creek. Found lots of $2-3 tables in Blackhawk area and a great $1 table at wildwood in cripple creek. south Dakota is voting in NOV on allowing craps, roulette and keno into deadwood. we tour around hitting casinos all over. 150 in the last year. were headed for new mexico next!

I'm a fan of the Rivers Casino in Pittsburgh. If you go during the afternoon there's lots of $10 black jack playing 3:2 and a poker room which has 1,3 blinds and a minimum buy in of $100. Plus it's actually really nice as far as casinos go.

I've also noticed gas stations with low limits.
