MCI-AUS

Austin starts November 18th, 1x/day with the E170 from Kansas City.

Two interesting things...

(a) They chose to go to Austin instead of San Antonio, in spite of Midwest being much more successfull on MCI-SAT than MCI-AUS.

(b) These flight times do not especially fit existing flight schedule times. We'll probably see at least some shifting of flights at MCI in conjunction with this. Or perhaps a new flight with this plane, like MCI-MCO at 10:30am, returning to MCI at 6:25pm.

AUS-MCI
8:10am - 10:00am

MCI-AUS
6:59pm - 8:54pm

MCI-AUS should be for sale starting tomorrow...perhaps we'll see other schedule updates then, too.

Yay! Can't wait to make use of some introductory fares.

With the newly-timed flights at Milwaukee, MKE-AUS is now a good connection both ways...37 minutes southbound and 35 minutes northbound. Might even end up being scheduled as a thru flight.
