Nasdaq delisting Frontier stock

Frontier said today that it received a notice from Nasdaq saying that as a result of the carrier's filing for Chapter 11 bankruptcy protection, it will be delisted from Nasdaq and the trading of its stock will be suspended at the opening of business April 22.

Frontier said it does not plan to appeal the Nasdaq move.

Pretty standard for bankrupcy. That does not mean that the stock becomes worthless, rather that any continued trading will take place on the OTC.BB or Pink Sheets. Obviously some believe that it still has value as it didn't go to 0 immediately on Ch11 filing, in fact it had a pretty signifigant bounce a short while after the filing.

Nonetheless, I would not have wanted to be a shareholder prior to bankrupcy, this thing hit very suddenly and without warning.
