I guess those 5 questions got you. Right?

Originally I didn't go through the sign-up process since I am not eligible being a Taiwanese myself. However, after reading rfong007's post, I went ahead and registered myself just to see what's the deal.

In order to serve the FT community and share the beauty of Taiwan, here's the five magic answers in BOLD to the five questions:

Question 1. About Taiwan's geographical location, which of the following is true ?
Near the Mediterranean Sea in Europe
Between North and South America
South of Japan and Korea and north of the Philippines.
It is Asia's transportation hub

Between Australia and
New Zealand

Question 2.Currently, the tallest building in the world is in Taiwan.
What is the name of the building?
National Museum of Natural Science
Taipei 101
Fort San Domingo
Chikan Towers

Question 3. Among all the museums in Taiwan, one is ranked among the world's top four, alongside the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York, the Louvre Museum in Paris, and the British Museum in London ?
National Palace Museum
National Taiwan Museum
National Museum of History
National Museum of Natural Science

Question 4 Which of the following is not a festival in Taiwan ?
Lantern Festival
Easter
Dragon Boat Festival
Ghost Festival
Aboriginal Harvest Festival

Question 5. Which of the following can you see in Taiwan ?
Chinese Opera
Cloud Gate Dance Theatre
Puppet shows
Aboriginal cultural performances
All of the above

Hope at least 5 out of the 10 lucky winners will be our fellow American or Canadian FTers because of me.

If you don't get Bingo, it lets you go back and try again, even giving you the option of getting a clue. I missed Taipei 101...WHO KNEW? but got the rest the first try.

What does Bush think about Roe vs. Wade?

Answer: He doesn't care how people leave New Orleans.

To be honest, some answers are quite obvious. For instance, question#4, who in the right mind would think Taiwan had Easter at all? Of course, I am biased.

Is it just me, or does that sound like a really random part of the award to anyone else?

True...but then again, how much does it cost to get new identity papers? Do I smell someone loosing their drivers license?

2.000 TWD ~ 60 USD

Not worth it if they mean losing your passport

I didn't see anywhere saying that they will "take care of" participants' ID/passports.

Well, I am not sure if Taiwan government will take anything other than passports as the proper form of ID papers for international travellers though.
