Well, it doesn't strictly follow the topic of this thread, since beckoa IMed the announcement about it to me directly on Gmail (and only later did I see the post on FlyerTalk!)...but then again, I do know beckoa through FlyerTalk...so anyway, yes, I won a pair of Holua headphones valued at $99 in that contest!
I of course owe LOADS of gratitude to Randy and everyone who makes up the FlyerTalk community for the awesome gift of an Open Skies flight to Paris. That will remain one of the most cherished memories of my life.
Previous to these experiences, though, I have only ever won one single thing in my life: a pair of tickets on a Portage Glacier Cruise valued at about $20 or so apiece from a radio station. I never win anything, which is why I was absolutely floored when I received the Open Skies flight!
I see on this thread that people have one things other that miles and trips like (laptops, cash, cds, restaurant certificates) are these contests and sweepstakes posted in the same place as the miles and trips or are they posted elsewhere?

My guess is that the grand prize was a trip somewhere, and the second, third, fourth, whatever other prizes were something else. The primary prize must be travel related to qualify for posting here.
