Where are they putting you up? Since I live here, I always wonder what hotel they think is a good representation of our city.
I'm assuming you are asking me about my prize in ATL. We stayed at the Marriott Marquis near Peachtree Center. It was where most of the media and corporate sponsors of the SEC were staying. For the BCS game in MIA they put me up in the Loews Miami Beach, which was a nice place but a horrible location relative to Dolphins Stadium. And as a north FL boy, I couldn't care less about South Beach and all its drama.
Got this yesterday:
Congratulations! I am pleased to tell you that you have been selected as the winner of United Vacations' See the World trip giveaway for the month of January. You have won:
- Roundtrip flight for two to Jamaica on United Airlines
- 7-night stay at a Jamaica Sandals Resort of your choice
- Roundtrip airport/resort transportation
So which Sandals resort would everyone recommend? I'm thinking either the Royal Caribbean or Dunn's River.
Not having been to either of those two, my gut tells me the Royal Caribbean. Because a faux Italian feel to a place that was a British colony just seems contrived to me.
