Just got an email yesterday informing me that I won a second place prize in the Sonoma Vineyards Take Flight sweepstakes... a Sonoma Vineyards knit cap (referred to in the rules as a "beanie").

mmmm ... a knit cap??!!! Congrats, I think - LOL. At least now when people say "they don't really give stuff away in sweepstakes" you can point to your head and say "yup, they sure do!"

I just won (actually my girlfriend did, but I'm the one who entered her email address) a trip for 2 to NYC along with some other stuff from Estee Lauder.
But...
The dates of the trip were fixed and are smack in the middle of our very inflexible European trip next month. So we had to forfeit the prize

Recent minor victories: $25 Visa gift card, $25 Home Depot gift card, $20 Omaha Steaks gift certificate, a tube of toothpaste, about a half-dozen coupons for bags of chips from Subway (none of which I've actually cashed, they're only good for about a week), and a year's supply of salted snack foods from Lance/Cape Cod.
Nothing as awesome as a trip to the Beijing Olympics though! Congrats twobyte!
Although it was not a FT win exactly I won a mini-mag lite flashlight ( Indirect win route goes like this....got on FT last summer and found the number to call Marlboro and get a free sleeping bag and now they send me marketing materials and coupons in the mail so I got on the www.flavorchase.com website and have been entering daily for prizes..and voila! I won, YIPEE!! As a side note, the flashlight or the plastic case it's packaged in does not have ANY Marlboro signage
