I won two rt tickets from Funjet at the NY Times travel show in NYC last year. It had so many stipulations that it was almost impossible to redeem. After months of trying to get the trip we wanted, we gave up and settled on Cancun. I've never used Funjet for anyting before that and never will after that experience.

So much for generating goodwill & repeated bizness, given the above scenario. Makes you wonder sometimes.
I won the JetBlue sweeps, so on Sunday will be flying w/ a fellow FTer to NYC to watch the Clippers/Knicks game. 2air tickets, 2-night hotel stay, & tickets to the game.

Just back from the trip. It was quite fun! Especially being in NYC during the Patriots/Giants game. Some of the Giants came to the Knicks/Clippers game & obviously the crowd went wild. BTW - I was impressed w/ JetBlue. The DirecTV totally rocks, quite a bit of legroom, and friendly FAs who made the rounds w/ drinks/snacks quite a bit.
Received a box today from a non-travel sweeps I entered; some Johnson&Johnson thing - clean home stuff. Or like mentioned above it was one of the lesser prizes in a travel sweepstakes. Can't remember.
Isn't it great to win a contest and travel on someone elses dime!
Well at first - and then there's the taxes you pay on it, so not quite someone else's dime. But the taxes for the NYC trip would be less than it would have cost me to do the same trip. And at the time it feels free, so yes
I won 2nd prize in Select Your Destination sweepstakes from LiveScience.com. The FT search is not currently working so I cannot look up the thread. I received a portable telescope a couple of days ago. The trip would have been great, of course.
