1-Bedroom OV/OF Luxury Suite

2008 rates >
1/2-12/18 $2950/$3250 ++
5/28-10/17 $2100/$2300 ++

total value from $18,816 > $29,120 (not including breakfast, 1 dinner, and anything else included)

Holiday rates (would add even more value) apply:
Dec. 19, 2007-Jan. 1, 2008
Feb. 14-18, Mar. 20-29, Nov. 26-29, 2008
Dec. 19, 2008-Jan. 1, 2009

also note 25% tax/service is added to all F&B purchases. you might ask what it would cost to add more meals to what you currently have. like a supplementary meal plan.

there is quite a bit of discussion in the luxury hotels forum, and the resort is very well regarded.

enjoy the trip im certainly jealous

Just over 2 years ago I won 200,000 Miles And More points in a competition run by Avis. Shame they weren't status miles too!

Last year I won two business class tickets Heathrow to Bangkok from Thai Airways from a competition that was posted on the BA board!

(And we got miles when we took the flights as well!)

That's considered a double win!

PS - If you encounter any more on individual boards, consider posting them in this forum.

Cheers.

I'm new to sweepstakes and once stumbled upon a scam so do not want to be cheated on again. Please weigh in your seasoned opinions.

Dear Kabesa,

Congratulations! You have been selected to receive a prize by registering in the Tune in to Win with Title Source promotion, administered by ePrize.

You have won a 52" Plasma TV and a speaker system that includes two (2) speakers and a subwoofer. Please see the Official Rules for further prize details and eligibility requirements. This prize has an approximate retail value of $3,100.

Your Affidavit of Eligibility, Liability & Publicity Release ("affidavit") is available online by visiting http://titlesource.eprize.net/tunein...avit_Grand.pdf. Please fully complete and notarize the affidavit and return your original copy. Your affidavit must be received within ten (10) calendar days of the date of this win email notification. If you do not return your affidavit within this timeframe, another winner will be selected. You can find the mailing address at the top of the affidavit.

You will be notified of your approval status once we have received and reviewed your fully executed affidavit. Your prize will be fulfilled 8-10 weeks after the conclusion of the Promotion.

Please be advised that there are tax ramifications that will result from your receipt of this prize. If you choose to receive your prize, you will be sent a 1099 form at the end of this calendar year. Please consult a tax advisor for further information about how to best address this issue.

For a complete set of Rules for this promotion, please visit http://titlesource.eprize.net/tunein/?page=rules. Please refer to them for any questions you may have. Should you have any additional questions, please feel free to contact Prize Fulfillment Services via email at fulfillment@eprizefulfillment.com. Please include the name of the promotion and the prize listed above in the subject line of your email.

If you are unable to open the referenced affidavit, you can download Adobe Acrobat Reader from the Adobe website for free. The URL is http://www.adobe.com/products/acrobat/readstep2.html

Congratulations again and thank you for your continued patronage of Title Source, Inc.

Looks real to me. Did you enter this contest?
One of my wins was sent exactly this same way. And eprize is a real company that does these things.
I did have to have mine notarized too.
But in the end you have to make the decision.

kabesa,

A few days ago you asked for my opinion about this win in a private email, and I responded to you, noting that ePrize is one of the largest promotional/judging agencies in the country and it does not run scams. I can see, however, that you remain unconvinced.

So, here is ePrize's home page: http://www.eprize.com You can email them directly and ask them if this win is for real. ePrize usually sends out their affadavits by email rather than usps/dhl/FedEx, etc. so it is normal to receive one in this manner. It is also normal for affadavits to require your social security number so that you can have the honor of paying tax on your $3,100windfall.

If you do not want to accept the prize, that is fine too. But I would urge you to let ePrize know in a timely manner so that they can go on to the next name on the winner's list.

I just received email notification that I am a winner in Orbitz Winner Every Hour promotion for a $350 voucher on Northwest. I was lucky enough to win 2 1st class NW tix on a different Orbitz promotion a few months ago. So, 3 seats down, 1 more to go for the "FourthFox."

Thanks to the OP! I wouldn't have known about this contest if not for you.
