Eligibility: Holiday Inn #JourneyOnContest Instagram Contest (the “Promotion”) is open only to legal residents of the fifty (50) United States, the District of Columbia, and Canada (excluding the Province of Quebec) who are at least eighteen (18) years old and have reached the age of majority in their state or province of residence at the time of entry and who have joined IHG Rewards Club, joining is free.
How To Enter:
1) Enter the Daily Sweepstakes and the Contest using Instagram:
You will need to have an Instagram account to participate in this Promotion. Creating the account is free, but requires use of a mobile device and is subject to its Terms of Use (http://instagram.com/legal/terms/). Data and message rates may apply when entering through Instagram.
Take a photo that displays your personal journey (herein the "Contest Theme"). Your personal journey can be actual travels or something the represents your life's goals and passions. Post the photo on Instagram and include the hashtag #JourneyOnContest, and a caption that describes your photo and your journey.
By posting your photo and caption, herein referred to as your Submission, you agree that your Submission conforms to the Content Restrictions as defined below (in the Official Rules) and you will receive one (1) entry into the applicable Daily Entry Period drawing as well as the Contest.

2) Enter the Daily Sweepstakes without use of a mobile device: Send an email to [email protected] and include the following information: your name, address, daytime phone numbers, and date of birth. You will receive one (1) entry into the applicable Daily Entry Period drawing for each email message sent.
Entry Limit: You may enter the Promotion up to three (3) times per day during the Promotion Period by any combination of entry methods.
- Multiple entrants are not permitted to share the same email address. Any attempt by any entrant to obtain more than the stated number of entries by using multiple/different email addresses, Instagram accounts, identities, registrations and logins, or any other methods will void that entrant's entries and that entrant may be disqualified. Use of any automated system to participate is prohibited and will result in disqualification. In the event of a dispute as to any registration, the authorized account holder of the email address used to register will be deemed to be the entrant. The “authorized account holder” is the natural person assigned an email address by an Internet access provider, online service provider or other organization responsible for assigning email addresses for the domain associated with the submitted address.

- Quality of Submission (33%); and
- Fit to Contest Theme (34%)
In the event of a tie, the entrant whose Submission received the highest score for Fit to Contest Theme as determined by the qualified judges, in their sole discretion, will be deemed the potential Contest winner. The potential Contest Winner will be notified by Instagram Direct. (Which doesn't make a whole lot of sense since the rules allow one to enter without using Instagram. Probably an oversight by the sponsor when writing the rules.)
