Laundry in Lyon

I am looking for a place in Lyon where we can drop off a bag of laundry in the morning for washing and folding. Can afford to wait one day, but would be great if there is some place that could get it done later that same day.

Thanks.

My laundry experience in France is that public laundry facilities seem to be very limited (most people have one a home? and are too cheap to get it done by others) and what you find outside is expensive (€4 for a small load and about €1/10 minutes for drying for self-service). Can't say I've seen too many service facilities. Maybe I'm out in smaller cities and towns but that's been my experience.

Keep an eye out for laveries (possibly serviced), lavomats (self-service)

1. Pressings (serviced) : this franchise has a few branches in Lyon: Sequoia. There is also 5asec, but despite being n°1, they have no shops in Lyon
It's going to be quite expensive though.

2. There are also small self-service laundries in older residential districts, which are hard to find. They can be located on Pagesjaunes (the keyword is "laverie automatique"), however there could be errors or shops that have closed since so I'd suggest verifying on Google Street View.

Our local 5asec is only for drycleaning (pressing in French) .... perhaps a look in the French Yellow Pages (pages jaunes) as Airlib has suggested might be helpful or even contacting the Tourist Office ... I'm sure they've had stranger requests! (And of course it all depends where you are situated!)

Might there not be a laundry facility where you are staying?
