Question Registration for 10K race in France - medical certificate?

I am trying to register for the 10K de la Cite des Papes in Avignon. I have the registration form I need but I believe the fine print on the form (it is written entirely in French) says I will need to present a medical certificate prior to running. Does anyone know anything about this requirement? Can I simply present a letter from my doctor stating I am in good health or is there an actual medical waiver form that is required? If there is a form, any helpful hints for acquiring one would be greatly appreciated!! Merci Beaucoup

Normally it's just a note/letter from your doctor. Whether or not you need a French translation of it, I'm not sure...

Good luck!

Thanks for your response! I contacted the race organizer, who stated they prefer the letter to be written in French and provided this example:

Je, (nom du mdecin) certifie que Mme (votre nom et prnom) est apte la pratique de la course pied.

Date et signature avec tampon du mdecin

Luckily, my doctor was perfectly happy to assist.
