I have translated the petition in French and posted it in a French speaking Forum, less oriented to Frequent Flyers than Flyertalk, but it will help to contact a larger audience.

Superb initiative !
To spread the word around (and beyond the usual fora) an efficient way would be to create the pdf of an attractive flyer, urging concerned people to sign the petition --- this pdf would be available on a public site for everyone of us to download and print, so that we could leave copies around in adequate places (airport terminals, lounges etc.) whenever we travel.
Here's a tentative text:

Definitely. We discussed this already and indeed I am just on the outlook for someone with better graphical design skills than myself

Thanks TuxTraveller for your effort to bring this petition online! My family has already signed it… I fully agree with albieros approach! I'll be in LHR, AMS and MNL next month and HKG and CDG in March…
Another way to spread the word is if some people are on Bluenity - it would be fun to send a link to the petition to all of your fellow passengers!

Fantastic to see both the total numbers and the density of elites. Definitely shows that this is something that many Flying Blue members agree with and a concern that we all share.
