Thanks. It's been crazier this year (in different ways) than last year.

Happily, for friends in ATL, their son finishes 3 years of chemo (part of what sent me on this road) in May.

On a far less awesome note, several friends are now fighting this (STUPID!) disease and we just spent $$$ for one of my family's favorite cats to have cancerous lumps removed.

Taco - very alert post surgery:

What you do is inspiring.

And more, it inspires me to get off my sorry behind and spend less time on planes and more time in the gym...

Something has to counteract all the time in an airplane seat.

And the drinking. And the eating.

At least when I'm in NY I can walk to/from work.

Sitting at a desk (now have a standing desk) kills me more than anything. Unfortunately, not walking/running/safely biking to work for me.

You just met your fundraising goal

I ran London in 2013. Amazing experience.

Good luck with London, and thank you for your fundraising for a very worthy cause!

And it looks like I'll go over a bit.

Sometimes, I'm not sure which is more work - the training or the fundraising.

The fundraising for sure. The training is something that we would do anyway!

I ran New York in 2013 for The Meb Foundation, and hit up everyone I know for $$$.

Of course the fundraising! In the past I have raised funds for my alma mater, and while it's for a good cause, it can be painful at times.

I just made a (small) donation. I'll be on vacation in London on the day of the marathon, so I thought this would not only be a (small) good deed but also give me a (small) way to feel a part of things, as those crazy runners go by!

Best of luck to you.

THANK YOU Giggleswick! No donation, big or small, is rejected.

The atmosphere in London during the marathon is crazy.

Update - April 8, 2015

Hi Everyone!

Just a quick update!

I've reached 1,691.78!!! THANK YOU again for your support.

Over the Easter weekend, I was able to make it home to California.

I did get to see Taco, the family Persian. Her energy levels post cancer are PHENOMENAL. We'd largely attributed her lethargy to getting older...nope...no more cancer = insanely active! Her "Turbo-5000 Purr Machine" is also back in full force.

Spring has definitely sprung here in the UK! Yesterday's short outing:

18 days to go! And 200 days to the MCM in DC!
