Just threw in $25, so I guess it's time for iluv2fly to cough up that match.

Thank you uavking for reaching the $2000 mark. iluv2fly put in his match of $2000 and the total is $4000. While all the donations were coming in shcooper1 contacted me and said when we reach $5000 he will match the amount. Wow! for just another $1000 we get an additional $5000,
Are there any other matches out there once we reach $5000.

Good Morning! We are moving right along to the next match goal. Our current total is $4375.
Last year with your help we gave out 17 scholarships and are currently accepting applications for 2014. The recipients have to attend an accredited college flight program and maintain a "B" average. When Capt. Dahl attended San Jose State in California he won a $2000 scholarship by writing an essay titled "Why I Want To Fly". Therefore we ask each applicant to write their own essay with the same title.
In 2013 we gave two $5000 scholarships and fifteen $1000 scholarships. The remaining funds we collect go into our general fund so we can continue to give out yearly scholarships. Our administrative costs are less than 2% and all the board members are volunteers.
