I know a few people that were flying into FLL today for cruises this weekend. I'm waiting to hear from them.

Five dead, eight injured, suspect unharmed. Thousands milling on the tarmac. Looks like total chaos. Hope it isn't.
CNN reports suspect arrived FLL on a flight with his weapon(s) in checked bag, retrieved bag from belt, got his weapon(s) out and started firing... at least 18 rounds.

FLL will be closed for the rest of the day. Most if not all airlines have issued waivers for FLL through at least tomorrow. I know AA's allows reroutes through MIA and PBI, but it will depend on the airline what is allowed.

Yes, FLL is still closed until further notice. They have to be re-route to MIA or PBI instead. You can't go to FLL for a while. Due to ongoing incident.

Okay guys, the news just came in.
He was charged with 5 counts of first degree murder and weapon charges, as well. He could face death penalty if he convicted.
