New Year´s in Orlando or Tampa

Hi@all
I will be spending some time in Florida at the end of this year, including New Year´s. Are there any suggestions for nice parties (hotels etc) for either Orlando or Tampa?

Thanks

Are you factoring Bowl Games into your plans?

The Citrus Bowl is played 12/31 in Orlando and the Outback Bowl is played 1/2 in Tampa.

Walt Disney World

The Washington Capitals are playing in Tampa on Dec 23. We will be in MCO for New Year's this year and plan to spend both Dec 31 & Jan 1 at WDW Parks....checking out the fireworks!

New Year's Eve in Ybor City just east of Tampa is fun, and so is First Night in St Petersburg.

Epcot is incredible for New Year's Eve. Several simultaneous parties, dozens of good food and drink choices, multiple insane firework shows and 100,000 people to enjoy it.

Depending on your age. It is a younger crowd.

Orange Ave and the Church Street in Orlando is good with a bit (a bit) more diversity in age. There is a nice Marriott property right on Orange Ave.

What are you looking for? Fireworks? Then Disney/Epcot.
Something just to wander around? Orange Ave or Ybor City.
A single fancy party - no idea.
