Mount Dora

I did a search and came up with only 4 peripheral references to Mount Dora. I have a week off in May and we thought we'd drive the 5 or 6 hours down and visit Mrs BamaVol's dad in Leesburg for a couple days. After that, it's kind of wide open. Her dad had taken her to Mount Dora for lunch last year and Mrs BamaVol has suggested that she would like to spend a little more time there.

Any suggestions? We're probably looking at a couple nights at a B&B or non-chain hotel. Also open to restaurant recommendations.

When ya going? I assume that you know that Mount Dora is well known for their antique stores.
Events:

Art Stroll, May 8th
Blues N Groove Music Festival, May 15-16 : http://bluesandgroove.com/

Restaurant: caveat, I haven't been in several years though. Check recent reviews.

Goblin Market: http://thegoblinmarketrestaurant.com/
Quaint, intimate, former house. Not cheap.

Lodging and Food:
Lakeside Inn - http://www.lakeside-inn.com/about-us/ Historic Inn with a couple restaurants that used to be good. Check recent reviews though.

I am not a fan of the Mission Inn Resort in Howey In The Hills, but others love it. http://www.missioninnresort.com/

We'll be down right after the blues festival. Too bad, I'd like to have seen Mayall's band. Still looking at alternatives. Mrs BV is more the antiques fan. I'm more interested in bars and breweries.
