I'm Finnair+ Silver and will shortly be flying LHR<->SYD via SIN on BA/Qantas. It's not clear on the Finnair website what lounge access I get with Silver. Does anyone know if this is lounges in Finland (or even Helsinki) only or might I be able to use lounges in LHR, SIN or SYD with my Finnair+ Silver?
I would imagine it needs to be both AY metal and AY ticket for the Silver lounge access to work. I might be wrong but at least it was like this earlier (10+ years ago) - haven't used Silver card since even though I have it again after being downgraded from Plat over the last few years (but I never use it..)
It definitely needs to be on an AY ticket, if so the metal you're flying on doesn't matter.
If not on an AY ticket, standard OW rules apply I'm afraid.
This might work on outstations where AY flies themselves...but what about some codeshare stations, like SYD or SFO? I remember asking for access at SFO loong time ago with Silver card and it was NO..at JFK it worked for AA flight with AY codeshare ticket..but my information is ancient, like I said..the world has changed since, not to mention air travel..

I am not so sure myself either, as I mostly fly AY for SH. Anyways, there is a list of all Finnair lounges here. At these locations you should be guaranteed entry.

Surprisingly many lounges where AY Silver gives entrance. (I'd guess only when flying on AY coded flight but still )
And of course the cherry on the cake (for Golds)

Not sure how this works, but probably needs an AY ticket (as with BA ticket I was directed to the CX Business lounge).
Nope, it doesn't need to be an AY ticket (nor AY coded). Worked perfectly with a BA ticket twice in November. Needless to say, I truly enjoyed it after TATL flights!

Strange, I had a BA CE ticket and AY Gold in my last experience and that was in November as well.
Maybe I should give another try on Saturday morning when flying via LHR.

I accessed the CX First Class lounge in September as AY Gold when travelling on BA (BA ticket, BA code, BA metal). The first agent directed me to the business lounge, but when I told her about the policy displayed on finnair.com, she asked her supervisor and welcomed me and my guest in the first class lounge.

Cool, good to know. Let's see how it works this time.
