BA Priviledges with AY Points?

A simple question to "old" FlyerTalkers. I'm scheduled to move to Finland next May and therefore I've already joined the AY Plus program. For the time being I'm BA Silver, which is an equivalent to AY Gold.

Since we'll stay in Finland for some years to come, I've started collecting AY points... in view of upgrades and other fun.

When collecting AY points, with , can I still use the BA priviledges (C class check-in and lounge access) even when travelling in Y? Meaning entering the lounge with BA Silver even though my boarding card shows a AY Plus number... Or vice versa?

Thanks for your answers!

Just make sure, that you get at least 400 TP:s and 4 BA flights per year and you should be ok - by retaining the silver card (the TP requirement is that low outside of UK). To qualify for AY plus gold takes much more effort or sitting onboard.
