Not related to Finnair (except very tangentially), but what the hey.
This morning's Helsingin Sanomat has a long account of the recent government crisis. At the very end they tell how the prime minister missed all the flights to Oulu because the negotiations dragged on, but managed to get on an ambulance plane (no idea if there was a patient aboard or not) in the wee hours of the morning. Space was tight, so Mrs Prime Minister had a seat while Prime Minister Sipilä sat on a toilet seat for the duration of the flight!

In private jets one seat is the designated 'toilet' seat: http://www.celebritynetworth.com/art...t-of-all-time/

On the topic of card expiries - in my wallet SEB issued
AY MC exp 04/17
AY DC exp 10/16
Issued within a day from each other (arrived a day apart in October) the MC card shows validity as the correct AY status validity + 2 months, while the DC card shows expiry 1 year after the issuance of the card (change in status) with no correlation to the actual status. The previous DC card (AY Gold) was issued in June and had expiry 6/2017

So first of all, wish you a very happy birthday!!! And I have to say this is seriously cool! But how did they know it was your birthday? Is that also listed on the passenger manifesto (coming from your FF account), or you told them?

Apparently AY is starting F service on own metal, cause the other possibility would be an IT glitch, which of course cannot happen with Finnair (BTW, as you can see it would not sell the F ticket for the return trip, only for the outbound journey)

Any suggestions on what to use for the future?
