On ARN flights, a cold sandwich with beverages is served. On all other SH flights, the service includes "a hot main meal, something sweet and beverages".

Beverages include sparkling wine (Bernard-Massard Cuvée de l'Ecusson), white wine, red wine, beer, cognac, whiskey, vodka, cream liquor and soft drinks.

Iberia-operated MAD and BCN flights have Iberia service with starter, hot meal and proper dessert. On these flights, a different set of beverages is served (IB selection).

Destinations with sandwich:

Destinations with hot meal only (no starter) and something sweet:
AMS BER BGO BLL BLQ BRU BUD CPH DBV DUS FRA GOT HAM KRK MUC NAP NCE OSL PRG SPU TOS TRD VCE VIE VNO WAW ZAG

Hi,

I just gave them feedback on the short haul business class food.

I'd be prepared to pay more or buy with cash if there was an option to get higher grade food.

That would allow me to better organize my life by (more often) transferring dinner/lunch/breakfast to the plane.

At the moment the low grade food prevents doing it.

When flying in SH J in the morning hours I skip the breakfast at home. I find that offerings in the lounge and during the flight are sufficient.

The quality should be better though at least in the lounge.

The feta cheese salad wasn't bad, though.

That's right. By doing so, you win around 30 mins of sleeping time.

That's the whole point.

When working in Europe, I fly out 2-3 times a week (sometimes). I prefer sleeping at home vs hotels. Cost-wise makes no difference. When you have this frequent rhythm of business, little things matter.

Well, I have had that one too. But there was a decent shrimp/mayo salad to go with it. After finishing the potatoe, purser asked if I wanted seconds of the shrimps.
FA: We have a lot of them, and they won't keep. You can have as many as you like.
ME: Sure, why not. As long as you have champagne to go with those shrimps, I'll be happy to get them off your hands!

Man, that was a nice flight!

The goat cheese sandwich was there also on TXL-HEL flight this June. Quite disappointing - especially for someone who's hungry and who's not a big fan of goat cheese (the latter of course isn't AY's fault).

Got a Sky Bistro chicken wrap on ARN-HEL yesterday. It came with the actual Sky Bistro packaging, but not the 7,50€ charge. I cannot complain insofar as I was opuped, but...

Todays food on TXL - HEL was the worst I ever had on AY, some kind of tart with a few leaves of salad beside - no dressing.

I remember Y flights where I got way better food - so AY just don t call it Business Class.
