I experienced econ comfort last night already. AY seems to be preparing planes for it: OH-LTS (330) operating AY6 JFK-HEL last night 19.11. had seat rows 21-25 with visibly more room.
It was pretty good for 7+ hour flight for a 180+ cm person. I speculatively booked into these rows even if it is not yet officially launched, thinking why not? ;-)
All first row 21 bulkhead seats had massive amounts of leg room. I'm thinking comfort row 21 will be my new favorite seating on AY longhaul, if the other planes follow OH-LTS spacing.
The AY Econ comfort seems to be a pretty good offering. Seats are same width (a bit narrow) as other econ seats, unlike AA MCE longhaul which has one less seat across. Still pretty good.

I believe I had the same experience on OH-LQC, AY21, HEL-DEL on 15.11. Of course, currently the comfort only means better legroom, not the other perks mentioned.

Now Economy Plus seats are coming to lh-fleet. Finnair tells A330 OH-LTS - LTU are still 297 seats (32+265). Weird.
AIRBUS A330-300
Seat map (OH-LTM, -LTN, -LTO, -LTP, -LTR)
Seat map (OH-LTS, -LTT, -LTU)
Seating capacity 297/271/263
https://www.finnair.com/FI/GB/flights/fleet
Just counted with updated seatmap that LTS-LTU is now 32+257 = 289 seats.
8 seats removed as Economy Plus installed and these removed seats are row 37 6 seats and row 38 2 seats.

Hmm. BA Gold here. Booking a flight on Finnair's website - when choosing a seat during booking, it offered to charge me EUR60 for a Y+ seat. I didn't bother choosing any seat, and the ticket has put me in 21J for both long haul legs.
Odd there doesn't seem to be any way to change seat on the website post-booking though?

Ok. Thanks!
Can anyone comment whether 21J would be comfortable for a long legged type like me? (185cm with longer than proportional legs). Often I find bulkheads less comfortable than being able to tickle the person in front's ankles...

There will be plenty of leg space. Seat width very slightly reduced. I'd choose 21*. (And I did, before our upgrades cleared JFK-HEL.)

Just arrived from one of the first Economy Comfort flights. Crew knew nothing about it, but after convincing them that I "paid" (aka free seat reservation for OWS) they provided C headsets and C amenity kits.

^ You got a good kit or the "environmentally friendly paper kit"?

The paper kit.
Was on the NRT-HEL service today. In regards of bulkhead seating, the center seats have some inches more room than the window seats.
But, as the load was about 40-50% I got one row for myself
