Your assumption seems reasonable, however incorrect:
(Well technically this still says Gold, though negative points requirement...)
It will be hard to reach Plat if one must hit _exactly_ 150k points. I guess that's why you guys are such an elite bunch.

So this morning the tracker is finally gone, as speculated. Status updated and upgrade vouchers expiring in a week visible on the account...
It took about 4,5 days for the points to post and additional 3,5 days for status update.
