Which hotel might that be? I skimmed through the thread and didn't see anything though I seem to recall talks of Klaus K? How late is intuition flying in? If we need a restaurant serving food past 10pm then it makes choosing a lot easier! ah the wonders of Helsinki!!

I will use my "layover" to check in, then leave for a quick back-to-back euro-trip and arrive back in HEL 22:35 - ie Helsinki down town at 23:00 or later.

Okay, I'll through in some suggestions within the vicinity:
winefriendly restaurants: Carelia, Kuu
relaxed ambiance: Bar Teos (tapas, open pretty late)
sushi: Tokyo 55
pizza: Benjam's Bistro (ok, it's not that close to CP but it's on the way back to Kamppi)

Also Lyon, although perhaps a bit more up-market.

Umeshu is a good Japanese restaurant.

Maybe it is time to try to pick venue. I have no knowledge, Teos seems fine to me.

I can book a table at Teos. Never been there, but the reviews are positive. So far we have four people. Any others?
