Current and historical promotions

This is a thread for reporting details of promotions in the Finnair+ program.

The purpose of the wiki is to keep a repository of current and historical promotions. This works best if all details are given in a post of the thread. Once such a post is made, edit the wiki and add a short description of promo in headline-style, with a link to the post that holds the detailed information. (You can create such a link by right-clicking the post-number and copy link location).
Do not link to the promo itself from the Wiki, as the promo page is likely to disappear once the promo ended and such link will die, leaving the wiki sans historical info.

Feel free to discuss alterations to the format in the thread below.

Do not delete historical posts.

On the JAL promo page, as one of the advantages of flying AY they list that you can experience the new A3500XWB. Is that one bigger than the A350?

Good for KLM and I agree on the sentiment on AY. Without transparency no trust.

Well, how do you know those KLM "winners" are not just some random common names and stock photos?

I have won VIP tickets to ice hockey game from AY+ raffle.

Of course there is not certainty, but if it is a hoax KLM at least has to work a little more to pull it off.

After the movescount promotion where
a) clearly the same guy won 2 months in a row
b) the total sum of miles accounted for in the winners list was less than miles promised in the campaign
I think AY would benefit from being more open and showing that they are not cheating on the promos.

Besides, if they ask the winners to pose with their price and share on social media, they will get even more free publicity...

Of course it is possible, but that would be quite easy to get caught at so i doubt KLM would do that... but as said one can never be sure.

But I do think the winners should be publisized, but thats just MY own opinion

Congrats on the VIP tickets thats a good prize. I have won free tickets from BLUe1 back in the day, but my whole family and most of my friends enter the AY raffles and zilch not even a email saying who won, just smells of fish to me

But also not hard to realize when AY doesnt really even publisize these promos to begin with

In order to celebrate Finnair Plus' 25th anniversary, it looks like there was a quick opportunity to sign up for the new Pirates of the Caribbean movie for a private screening only for AY Plus members. I saw Finnair had made a post on that on Facebook 57 minutes ago but apparently the event got full very quickly.

By now I'm convinced that the people responsible for all these recent campaigns and promotions are actually not aware that there are such things as tier members.

So, the 25th anniversary deals are on. It might be good to list them here:
- awards for discounted prices (15k - 30k - 95k in Y, 22k - 45k - 150k in J; apparently available from selected countries only),
- selected € + 1000p items cost now only € + 25p,
- new members get 2500 points,
- free delivery from Finnair Shop,
- €80 discount on holiday packages on Aurinkomatka,
- 20% off Tax Free pre-orders + €25 voucher when spending at least €100

Awards seem to be bookable only when clicking through the campaign pages (not when searching them from home page). KEF is a nice value for 22k in J. All in all, I'm a bit disappointed that there are no extra points deals. Well, happy anniversary to AY+!
