Current and historical promotions

This is a thread for reporting details of promotions in the Finnair+ program.

The purpose of the wiki is to keep a repository of current and historical promotions. This works best if all details are given in a post of the thread. Once such a post is made, edit the wiki and add a short description of promo in headline-style, with a link to the post that holds the detailed information. (You can create such a link by right-clicking the post-number and copy link location).
Do not link to the promo itself from the Wiki, as the promo page is likely to disappear once the promo ended and such link will die, leaving the wiki sans historical info.

Feel free to discuss alterations to the format in the thread below.

Do not delete historical posts.

OK, now I get it. The online booking has been lowered starting today.
Discount only for return adult awards. All other rates as before.

Also, No waitlisting, ie discount only applies for existing availability.

Oh yeah, duh. I didn't notice it started today! Got no email, just saw it's valid until Sunday. Happily discovered as I needed to book some holiday trips. Lucky me.

( I looked at the date and first thought it was the same table as they introduced with the revamp of the progam. So I thought they were going to go back to the old table after OCT31. Not much of a "promo", until I realised that column 2 have had the online "rebate" made larger for a week ^ )

Well, that is AY SOP!
However, it seems mail was sent out today, so only 14% of the campaign period was lost before it was promoted!

Pretty cheap, really, to book a (domestic) cross-country skiing trip late spring in Lappland. If you do not stay too long in an expensive hotel. And if the weather do not co-operate, just cancel for a few euros.

You found a feature. The official travel period of this campaign is until end of March. Nevertheless it seems to work even after that date. ^

Oh really? Then I was again mislead by CS, they said that as Gold/Plat it's possible to change dates or cancel the award without any fee and you get points+taxes back (in case of cancellation). Does someone have any experience that is change even not free?

In my experience, changing an award ticket is free for Golds & Plats. Cancelling is not - on the phone the CS often first states that there is no penalty for cancelling, but then rushes to add that taxes and fees paid will not be given back.

Not really a promotion but I just don't know where to put it best.

I flew now HEL - TKU with a stop in MHQ and received 2 segments and also points for each flight. I don't know if that is always the case or because they changed my ticket from a non-stop flight to the flight with a stop. So there was at least something positive in the detour.
