Current and historical promotions
This is a thread for reporting details of promotions in the Finnair+ program.
The purpose of the wiki is to keep a repository of current and historical promotions. This works best if all details are given in a post of the thread. Once such a post is made, edit the wiki and add a short description of promo in headline-style, with a link to the post that holds the detailed information. (You can create such a link by right-clicking the post-number and copy link location).
Do not link to the promo itself from the Wiki, as the promo page is likely to disappear once the promo ended and such link will die, leaving the wiki sans historical info.
Feel free to discuss alterations to the format in the thread below.

I see now on the first page of finnair.com the transantlantc promo 50k points which I haven't seen before??? I think it was posted here in this thread, and commented it was AGAIN "hidden", but only NOW it is up on finnair frontpage, really? Or have I just missed to see it...ends July 31, well yeag "^"

ONE roundtrip in Y gives you a whopping 2000 points...

Get more points to use while you travel or for other rewards. You can now receive 35% extra points when your buy or gift Finnair Plus award points by 6 September 2016.

I'm not buying at this price. A shorthaul upgrade comes in at 95€ or so - the price of a cash upgrade. A sh return (40k) ca 380€. Lh ow upg (50k) 460€ or so.
Also, there is no guarantee, that there will be availability on you flight, than you're so out of luck & cash
If you miss some points for a specific award, than it might be OK to buy, otherwise not so much

I prefer to keep some in alot of programs for unexpected needs... As a whole Im not sure how useful ay points are though

I got those in just a couple of days. Normal tier points, but the promo points were added to the amount of award points, so it was not a separate entry.

This is one of my pet peeves with AY+ - all the points are posting in a lump sum, with no way to see what is "inside".
