| What are moderators? |
TalkModerators oversee specific forums. They generally have the ability to edit and delete posts, move threads, and perform other manipulations. If you have a question about a particular forum, you should direct it to the TalkModerator for that forum. Not every forum will have a TalkModerator, so feel free to contact admin@flyertalk.com.
Becoming a moderator for a specific forum is usually rewarded to users who are particularly helpful and knowledgeable in the subject of the forum they are moderating -- although there are some who have claimed we don't have a clear understanding of the term "reward." |
| What is a signature? How and where do I get one? |
| A signature is a short, personalized message that you can set to automatically display at the bottom of your posts. To create a signature, simply click on MyFlyerTalk and click “Add Signature.” Before creating a signature, however, you should review the signature guidelines in the Guidelines and Rules section. |
