nyx.t2t, are you suggesting that the decision might be legitimately different for each hotel? It seems to me that stay credit eligibility should be a central decision of FPC's leaders -- not a choice of each hotel. (Because when a hotel gives FPC stay credit, it affects the benefits that must later be honored at other hotels.) It seems to me that FPC should be the one to answer universally whether or not the NFAF stays will get credit. Of course, they claim the right to change their decision whenever they wish.
I guess what I meant was, the places that people have called to try to confirm that the stays count towards stay credits give you different answers depending on what hotel you call...

Checked in last Saturday for 1 night using NFAF promo code and original booker ID per OP (thanks CanuckFlyHigh). BTW, no questions asked at check-in. The stay just posted this morning on Fairmont Presiden'ts Club as a Qualified Stay.
Looking forward to the rest of my Fairmont stays.

I checked out on 4/21 from the Fairmont Copley Plaza in Boston where I was on the NFAF rate. I had been checking daily but hadn't seen the stay post on my FPC account last week, so yesterday I submitted the on-line request for stay credit.
When I logged in this morning the stay credit was there. Not sure if it was already in the works or if it was the request that did it but I now have the credit.
I think seanthepilot can be moderator for the Fairmont forum...there is a Fairmont forum on the way, right?
I was about to nominate you for that task, actually.

Thanks for the update.

I am very new to the Farimont President's Club, is free internet always a benefit for President's Club members?
I completed a stay a little over a week ago using the NFAF rate. It posted to my FPC as not qualified, so I called the FPC customer service line. They told me that the NFAF rate does qualify, and updated my account. According to the person on the phone, the only rate that wouldn't qualify is a travel agents' rate - everything else should be okay.
I guess I'll have to call, I had a stay last week, and it said it didn't qualify. I'd like to get these to qualify as I'm doing a fairmont run to premier.

They definitely qualify. I've been on a Fairmont binge since the NFAF promo started and I am now Premier and will be top tier very soon. Never stayed at Fairmonts before and all my stays are through the promo.
Depending on the property, it could take a long time for your stay to post. Up to 7 days for several of mine (even 1 non-NFAF rate) whereas the Fairmont Orchid in Hawaii (NFAF rate) only took a few days...one of those rare moments where "island time" beats out the mainland
I only had to email/call-in once, actually twice via each method, to finally get my Fairmont Plaza stay last month to post (nearly 3 weeks after checkout). Sheesh! Hopefully that's the exception because I'd sure hate to go through that again if a status upgrade was pending.
