Fairmont Rimowa offer
https://www.fairmont.com/promotions/rimowa/
The package seems to increase BAR from 200 to 400 per night.
The Rimowa luggage is worth about 500, so basically stay at Fairmont, and save 50% on your Rimowa purchase.

If these were full-size Rimowas I may have taken them up on the offer, but I´ve never seen the point of spending $500 (or even $250-$300 with this offer) for a Rimowa rollaboard.

No way to check rate online. When I called in, they said the agent must do it over the phone. I asked for a rate code, but they said they don't have it.
It's a good deal if you're going to stay at any of these properties anyway, and are willing to pay a bit more, but to make a detour to get the Rimowa suitcases doesn't make any sense.

I check a few dates around August 23-25 and the weekend 25-27.
Whistler was $735 plus tax a night in gold room
Scottsdale (Middle of summer, Biltmore is going for $100 plus Virtuoso or FHR benefits) was $540 plus tax
Since I got a megado Rimowa piece heading my way I quickly concluded this offer ain't for me.

I don't think price has been released yet even though I was suppose to get it in November 2012. It is a carry on and I think it'll be matte black with a little SMD tag. This years megado has a stop at the Rimowa factory in Toronto area.

Get a Discounted Rimowa Carryon in Conjunction with a Fairmont Hotel Stay - View from the Wing - View from the Wing
http://boardingarea.com/viewfromthew...nt-hotel-stay/
but for Fairmont Ottawa
Gold room was $309/night
RIMOWA rate was $670/night
= each carry on is about $361+tax... not worth it IMO
