Once a month (during the first week of the month), Fairmont has a Great Rates Great Dates sale for Fairmont Presidents Club members only.

The St Andrews price is now £129. For whatever reason, on the dates I checked that price is no lower than the best available rate on the website (also £129) which also includes breakfast - so if anyone's looking to stay there then it may be better to use the regular rate.
By contrast, there's a substantial saving at Scottsdale...

The fact that they are non-refundable is a pain, and often availibility is very limited, but the rates are sometimes quite good.
It should be pointed out that President's Club membership is required for these rates.

Is it really that great............I suppose so if your lucky enough to find the rates when you want to go. Why do they send these to all the members 
As soon as I get it I go to the hotel I am interested in and it's never available on the dates I chose. It's seems to be a waste of time and does not really benefit it's " chosen members ".
Poor marketing. Period. If it's advertised as a special benefit to it's members and you have apparently only 7 days to book...........then simply make sure it's a benefit.
