Perhaps this is mentioned somewhere but I don't remember seeing it.

The complimentary third night on three-night stay (for premiums), can that be used with the Visa 2 night free certificates or only with paid stays?

Thanks very much.

Your number of qualifying nights should also be bumped up by 2, however you only earn an additional free night cert for every 10 nights starting at 40 nights in a calendar year, so it´s only relevant to those who spend a fair amount of nights at Fairmonts.

Thanks for the clarification. As per post above, I was under the impression that there is one free night beginning at 10 nights.

Unfortunately no. You only earn an additional free night cert after 40/50/60/etc. nights in a calendar year and even then they don´t post automatically and the last few times I qualified it was quite a pain to actually get those nights credited to my FPC account.

Can Fairmont Visa Chase free night certificate apply to the regular room only or it can combine to be used with the free suite upgrade certificate?

Will definitely apply for this one before the charter period ends. ^

What about the Charter Member benefits? Does one have to charge the $1,000 before 7/31/12?

Thanks again.
Bumping this. Does anyone know the specifics of the Charter Member benefits? 1. Get the card by 7/31/12 or 2. charge the $1000 by 7/31/12.

Thanks.

No. Think about the logic, if you sign up on 7/31, how would you charge 1000 until you get the card. Charge 1000 in first 3 months of having the card.

Read the terms on fairmontcard.com

I was under the impression that the Charter Member Benefits was something other than the 2 night frees? Meaning, you get the card and the two night free with breakfast, if you charge the $1000 in 3 months. I got that. Other Charter Member Benefits (which maybe I'm not clear on) if you complete the whole process, sign up and spend, by 7/31/12. Make sense?

The Charter benefit just requires sign up by 31 July 2012. No spend involved.
