interesting new feature when making booking
I was just making a booking on the Fairmot website and after selecting the room rate I was offered the following options:
Enhance your Stay
Milk and Cookies: 2 cookies and 1 glass of 2% milk
$9 CAD/Item
Chocolate Dipped Strawberries: 6 decadent cholocate dipped strawberries
$15 CAD/Item
Cheese Plate: Selection of international and domestic cheeses and dried fruit
$21 CAD/Item
Certainly an interesting approach to proactively offer welcome amenities at time of booking...

These are typical Platinum welcome amenities, and cookies are occasionally comped if you have cute well behaved kids.
I guess they are trying to open up new revenue streams.
