As I am not a frequent traveller overseas & because there also was a connecting flight to LA ,I was unsure whether a self checkin would print the boarding pass for the connecting flight.

Is this the end of service as we know it?

Why bother with check in staff if they dont want to do their job.

I wonder how they treat their economy class passengers.

I have ~105k miles and am an FTL, based in Germany. The planned long-haul flight most likely won't happen until early next year.
I am thinking about moving to Austria and going there by LH ;-)

I can start from many places in Europe - MUC, AMS, LHR etc. And it can be either short- or long-haul as long as the miles/EUR ratio is good. I guess anything other than a Business Class is not an option anyway...

I have a few fares on my radar but your suggestions will be much appreciated.
