Just wanted to summarize some info about accesing Internet while on Latam airports. May be this thread can help anyone in the future.

EZE:
- Expensive prepaid cards through Arnet (telecom) wifi all over the airport
- Free at Admirals Club near gate 9. Login to Arnet SSID and enter username aa/aawifi, password aslc24. It is probable that it only works in the access point installed in the club.
- Free at AMEX centurion lounge near gate 2. Can't remember password, but not accesible from outside the club.
- Free at the other VIP lounge near gate 2, if you have access to the lounge. You can get signal on gate 2, but I don't know the password.
. There's a restaurant in Terminal B (accesible from T-A if you walk 10 minutes). SSID labanderita. Password amush. This restaurant is near the AR connections desk.

SCL:
All VIP lounges.
Pacific Lounge near gate 20. Password is int11. Accesible from outside the lounge.

LIM:
All VIP lounges, no password. Not accesible from outside.

PTY:
Free at the airport and the lounge.

MEX:
Free at the AMEX lounges.
Sometimes, even non AMEX cardholders can access a specific AMEX lounge with free wifi.
ProdigyMovil: find a friend with a DSL modem in Mexico. That will help. You can also roam with many international ISP; however its expensive.

Does the luggage go though all the way to Narita?
Or Do I have to pick up at Lima and then check in again for the international flight to LAX(by LAN PERU) and then NRT(by JAL)?

Also, is LAN PERU reliable departure/arrival?
We have 2 hours and 40 minutes connecting time at Lima for LAX.
I have heard Lima-Cuzco flights have a lot of cancellation because of weather related problem in the afternoon.
How is Juliaca Airport?
Does it have the same issue as Cuzco?

Thanks in advance

Hi, I have a LAN flight for the end of the month that I unexpectedly have to cancel -- the only problem is it is non-refundable. According to LAN's terms, I can re-booked another LAN flight (for $100 and the fare difference) prior to the date of travel. It can be a LAN codeshare flight. The only problem is I don't need a flight on any of the LAN routes. The only flight I need is a flight from New York to New Orleans. LAN doesn't fly this route, but its affiliate American Airlines does. Does anybody know if this would be a codeshare route? And if it isn't, do you know how I can find out what codeshare flights LAN does make? Perhaps I can figure out another route that is flown on a codeshare flight, since there are no LAN-specific flights I need. Thank you!!

I will be spending 3 months in Brazil next year (Feb-Apr) and at some point I will need to go to BOG. In terms of airline choice, I can either go for GOL or AV due to my FB affiliation - although I'd definitely prefer AV.

I know that generally it's hard to say when it's a good or bad time to buy tickets, but the truth is that the Brazil-Colombia market is pretty much unknown to me. Therefore, I figured I should ask at least to know whether it is likely that the current fares offered still go lower.

I'm planning to fly roundtrip GIG/GRU to BOG. Right now, tickets with GOL are about $680 R/T, whilst tickets with AV are about $880 R/T.

Are these reasonable prices, is it often lower, might it go down? Thank you very much in advance.

Schedule says 2 flights a day. But I can only book on the afternoon flight on the Cancun to Havana route- I even tried calling mexicana and they cant give me an answer. Am i booking too early? The problem its not just on that date but on all the Cancun to Havana evening flight all week (might be more than that week- have not checked.) Schedule says afternoon and evening flight. But can only book afternoon flight.

On the return flight is fine. I can book on either flight.

If there are two flight available to book on the return than there must be 2 flights flying to havana too.

I have a bunch of cheap Iberia coach flights coming up that I know would only earn 25% credit on AA (and it's no better on BA). What happens if I credit them to Lanpass? I couldn't find anything specific about Iberia credit on Lanpass, except that I have to somehow submit the boarding passes for some unspecified credit. Sounds like a pain, but for 100% credit, I'd do it. Will this work? thanks!
BTW, I'd be surprised if this question hasn't come up before. My flyertalk search yielded nothing.

With the successful launch of Virgin Blue and Virgin America, I wonder if there are plans within Branson's Empire to launch a LCC carrier for domestic flights within Canada. I'm not sure between Australia and Canada which one has a more conservative approach to air policy, but I heard Australia is very conservative themselves but Branson was able to break through to give QF some competition. I was wondering if he has any plans to do the same to give AC some needed competition? If so, do you think he'll be successful in being granted such access as he was downunder?

Also should there be a Virgin Canada Airline, this will create thousands of new jobs for Canadians right?
