HA BoH (FIA) Visa - 20K bonus one time only or multiple times?

Apologies if this has been asked and answered here before. If so, I didn't find it in my search..

The BoH (really FIA, which is really BoA) HawaiianMiles Visa T&C does not state anywhere that the 20,000 new card sign-on bonus is one-time only (only for first time card holders).

So I wonder - and my question is - has anyone successfully cancelled the card and then a few months later re-applied for it (on the same HA account, or does it have to be a new one?) and gotten the 20K "new card" bonus miles again?

I honestly just got the card for the 20K bonus miles, otherwise it's pretty useless given the low value of HA miles (e.g. 7500 one-way inter-island redemption vs 5000 on NW or DL for HA flights, miles worth less than a penny each vs. a bit over a penny of most other airlines). But I am thinking now, if I cancel it and reapply for it later sometime next year (not to have my HA account lapse w/o activity), will I get the 20K new card bonus miles again, or does FIA keep track of it and it's only for first time card users only (and if they keep track of it, is it by SSN or just by the HA #?).

Any insight on this much appreciated!

There is some interesting HA tidbits and articles in the Oct/Nov (80th Anniversary issue) Hana Hou inflight mag.

In addition to the customary anniversary congratulatory ads filling the issue, there is an article overviewing how HA is doing now, an interview article with Dunkerley, an article about the Bellanca restoration, and an article about the naming of the upcoming A332 fleet.

I found the article about the naming of the A332 fleet the most interesting. HA looked to celestial navigation of the ancient Polynesian navigators as inspiration for the names of the A332 ships coming into the fleet. The upcoming 9 A332 will have the following Hawaiian names (the western name/constellation in paranthesis):
A332 #1 Makalii (Pleiades)
A332 #2 Hokulea (Arcturus)
A332 #3 Iwakelii (Cassiopeia)
A332 #4 Heiheionakeiki (Orion)
A332 #5 Hanaiakamalama (the Southern Cross)
A332 #6 Hokupaa (Polaris, the "North Star")
A332 #7 Kealiiokonaikalewa (Canopus)
A332 #8 Namahoe (Gemini)
A332 #9 Nahiku (the Big Dipper)

The article highlights the cultural/traditional significance to HA and the Hawaiian culture for choosing each name for the A332s.

I also noticed a quarter page congratulatory ad from Weber Aircraft. I guess you can deduct that Weber is the manufacturer chosen for the A332 HA seats.

So, if you are an HA diehard...go grab your 80th anniversary issue of Hana Hou and see you in the skies aboard HA.^

Captain reportedly said there was a failure of both the autopilot and the auto-throttle. He said they flew it manually for about three hours, but could not continue on.
