Option 1:
ATH-TLS 8/4/10
TLS-LHR 9/4/10
Or
Option 2:
YUL-ATH 1/4/10
ATH-TLS 8/4/10
LHR-YUL 11/4/10

Pretty much the same flights only for option 2 I'm skipping the TLS-LHR leg as I'd prefer to fly directly to BRS. All European flights in ET and the TATL flights in WTP. Everything on the same itinerary and booked through the multi-city function on ba.com
The taxes for option 1 are CAD$594 and for option 2 CAD$658. How is it that the itinerary with one less flight has higher taxes?

A GCH colleague of mine has just returned from New York and sampled the new City run. Yes he is a fan of BA but was totally knocked out by the experience. He thought the service was excellent and the seat/bed the most comfortable – even better than First Class on a 744.

He told me that judging by the load – there was only one spare seat - a lot of others no doubt think the same.

The only let-down was the rather tired food in the departures lounge at JFK. But you shouldn’t have a big meal before sleeping anyway.

He's not a Flyertalk poster, but asked me to put it up on his behalf. And even though he's not a city-worker or anywhere in the immediate Docklands locailty, he'd make the extra journey for the top-notch service again. :)

Forget the A380, is this the future? Now, when's it my turn?

Hi all,

we'll be arriving at T5 in a couple of weeks (c.7am) with a large volume of luggage, as we relocate from India back to the UK. The "we" comprises me, a 35 week pregnant Mrs EB and 2 small children. Are there porters that we can use (either BA or BAA supplied)? Haven't got to get far, just from baggage reclaim through customs and into arrivals, but would be useful to have an extra pair of hands - eldest child is only 3 and not up to carrying her own luggage yet ;).

Thanks

Hi guys!

I am new to BA miles and would like to know your opinions on what is the best way to use them.

I got a BA Platinum Plus card 2 months ago and have managed to collect 50,000 miles (Due to planning for my wedding next year).

My fiance & I are looking at using the miles to fly to San Fran & then onto either Vegas or Vancouver. The trip will not be our honeymoon. Would it be better use to MFU from WT+ using the 50,000 miles or instead keep collecting miles & use a 2-4-1 voucher & 100,000 miles? Another idea is to save miles & do a MFU to Asia too.

Sorry if it is a bit of a vague question and has been asked a million times. Would just like to make good use of the miles.
