Have a trip to Denver with family members this weekend at Hyatt Regency downtown, would it be woth it to try and use one of the upgrades on this trip or is the upgrade they give you for Diamond status normally fine(have never stayed at this Hyatt before), will also be at AAA rate.
Also in Dec have a stay at Indian Wells coming up also with family, I know the Regency club itself will be closed during that time , so with the upgrade does anyone know what level room they do upgrade you too.?

Thanks, Im new to this

I can't find a thread on this hotel and the sticky says "No Specific Review" so I thought I'd start one.

I've been staying here weekly for the past few weeks and thought I'd share my input.

The hotel is decent. Nicely appointed standard Hyatt lobby. Easy check in with kiosks, web check in, and a station to print boarding passes. The staff at check in is VERY friendly and competent. The restaurant food is pretty good for a suburban hotel restaurant, and I was pleasantly surprised last night by the quality of the seared tuna sandwich. Room service also delivers very quickly. The equipment in the workout room seems to all be functional (which is rare for many hotels!) and there is an indoor lap pool and hot tub.

The rooms are nice and pretty well kept up. The way they are configured they tend to have the "illusion" of being a suite which is cool. There aren't that many channels on TV. Also, the walls are very thin in this hotel, and the hotel rooms doors tend to slam ... so every time a door opens and closes in your hallway you tend to here it. Also the mattresses aren't quite fantastic.

The hotel is RIGHT on I-94 but I've never had a problem with traffic noise. It also has a free shuttle to a local Metra stop. There isn't much walkable in the area around the hotel (a drug store and an Embassy Suites) however there are a few decent restaurants within a very short drive.

Overall this is a well run decent suburban hotel. It's not "weekend getaway" material, but if you've got work to do in the N. Chicago suburbs, then this is a good bet.

I've been searching everywhere and I can't find any info on this. I am trying to figure out if there is any kind of point bonus or program offer I can apply to my stay at the Hyatt Place in Fremont. I tried the G bonus codes and they will not apply.

I just had a regular one night reservation using the Hyatt.com rate last night.

Does anyone know any kind of code I could use to get some more points on my Gold Passport Account with the hotel? I'm already signed up for FFN, I would just love to get some more points for my stay.
Thanks!

We tried to stay at Hyatt hotels throughout our stay.
We were in Grand Hyatt San Diego for seven nights
And, finally, Grand Hyatt Buckhead Atlanta for three nights
We would have stayed at more Hyatt's but, unfortunately, there were none in the areas we were travelling through

I just want to say how fabulous the staff were at ALL the hotels.
Really super friendly
Knowledgeable
And a credit to Hyatt.

Hoping Hyatt management check in here and read this but if they don't, I will also be emailing each hotel !

Just completed a 2 night stay here - typical Hyatt Place (I realize that if I'm not travelling alone I really hate these properties since if your companion gets up first and using the "bathroom" sink with the light on you really can't continue sleeping).

Problem that I note: my 2 night reservation was for 1st night at AAA rate and 2nd night was my "free" HP/SS "award" (note this was booked under 1 confirmation number by my Private Line Agent). I checked in at the kiosk since the lone attendant was busy serving wine to some women - noted that the kiosk receipt indicated a 1 night stay - so spoke to the attendant and he said it will be fine - next morning, got a folio under the door - so had to speak with the woman attendant who couldn't find the reservation at first but then found it - she checked me out and back into the same room. Not sure what the problem was but I had a similar issue at Andaz LA in April for the Hyatt Do.

Also, to me it seemed like the continental breakfast is now even more continental - with no pastries / croissants at all - only "bread" choices were two types of bread and a basic bagel. Since I haven't been actually at a HP in ages, I'm not sure if this is chainwide or just this location.

EDIT: Oops I should add that the big-TV had plenty of HD channels operational but wireless signal was very weak.

I should also note that while the directions to the property on the Hyatt site is correct - Mapquest is incorrect since the Parker exit off the North Dallas Tollway is just past the property (and the frontage / service road is one way only) so you have to circle around to get to the property (pretty obvious but just a little warning).
