I'm in after providing date of birth, address and social security information.

For ADK, Jr.'s account they want a copy of his passport, proof of residency (hope the TX DL will do) and a copy of his social security card. I assume this is because they could not find him in a credit database look up.

This may effect any of our friends in the Great White North or abroad who want to tell Google "What's in your wallet?"

I'm trying to book a FC flight from SLC to BWI in August. Due to fare buckets, I was only able to book 3 of the 4 flights I wanted to due to there being "only 3 seats left at this price"

The flight I want is a fare class of "P" for $1030. The later flight (2 non-stops daily) is an "A" for $592.

The only FC seats booked on either flight are the ones I've already booked.

What's the rationale for the different fare classes? I understand the fare classes, but why the difference on these two flights? The same afternoon flight the day before and after is $592.

I actually really like the German and French systems of connecting their major airports to rail and cutting or even abolishing some domestic routes by linking the airport to regional cities by high speed rail and putting codes on them.
Lufthansa have abolished FRA-CGN flights and cut back on FRA-STR flights as they now have codes on the train routes from them. AF has abolished its CDG-SXB flight and replaced it with a train service. LH will abolish their MUC-NUE and FRA-NUE once new high speed rail lines have been completed in Germany.
Of course itll be years and year until LHR is connected to high speed rail and the short sighted government havent even included LHR on the HS2 route.
But excluding LHR there are several airports in the UK which are connected to rail. MAN, STN, LGW and PIK are connected to national rail lines and BHX will be connected to HS2.
I was trying to think of possible airline/rail partnerships which could be set up in the UK now. Maybe BE could add airline codes on trains departing MAN and U2 or RY could add codes on trains departing STN.

Any thoughts?

Hi,

What are the good people of flyertalks opinions on my chances of getting BA silver this year?

I was Silver up until the year before last when I changed jobs and didn't fly as much. As a bronze this year I've racked up 320 tier points...but my membership year ends in September and I'm probably only going to fly once more long haul.

I know you used to be able to "move" to Europe to take advantage of the 400 silver buy-in, but am I right in thinking you can't do that any more? I reckon I can probably pay for another 80 tier points worth of flights, but not much more, and I do miss those lounges!

Any suggestions greatly received [other than the "go on enough flights to earn 480 more tier points ;)" ]

Cheers!

Do you own a Scottevest jacket? If so, have you ever found the plastic earphone guides simply fall off? With my Revolution Plus jacket, the plastic cylinders simply dropped off their tabs.

I asked Scottevest to repair the issue under their product warranty, but they refused, claiming that I must have cut the guides off the jacket. I did not do this, so I'm reaching out to other customers in the hope that I can demonstrate to Scottevest that the problem exists and that they should offer good customer service accordingly.

Thanks for any help.
I am not keen on checking it in, firstly because I'm moving so I have LOTS of luggage as it is, and secondly because I don't want to take the risk of it getting lost or delayed. Or damaged.

I have a BA Cityflyer flight from LCY to FRA this Friday. I went in to MMB to move us up a few rows at the T-72 window (no midget seat on the E170 but figured being closer to the front would get us out at FRA faster, though as I write this it occurs to me it'll probably be a bus gate so everything will be negated in the end anyway!) But logging in, I see the seat map displaying a 3-3 configuration with the following oddities:

Row 9 is an exit row

Rows 16 and 17 are ABC on the left but only DF on the right

Row 18 is AC on the left and nothing on the right

What sort of weirdo configuration is this? Have we been switched to a Titan Avro?

About a week of 3 ago, there were lots of saver awards available for travel from Amsterdam to North America (specifically IAD and EWK). But when I checked this weekend, all the options were gone and only standard awards are available. Saver awards through EWK or IAD are unavailable until somewhere around November. The only available option for most days is through Houston.
