At first thought/glance, perhaps. But in this "sphere," the #PaxEx #AvGeek luxury aviation realm... does it really surprise you? He probably has more traffic in that specific subject area. He's also "more likely" to pimp-pimp-pimp the product.
Sort of makes sense to me, personally.

He didn't get a private tour (I got in before he did and I'm a nobody in blogland), they let in a few people to see the seats amidst the melee and Brian fought his way through the crowd to get in. They suddenly kicked everyone out of the seating area so everyone could go to the press conference.
Only reason I got in is because I had DSLR-looking cameras for the pictures I was taking.

A few years ago Bjornstrom and I were at the ITB and naturally inspected the 'new' QR F seat Al-B had launched just an hour before that. As we were looking for anything added to the B/E Oasis seat, which included sitting in it and taking the table out, Al-B appeared out of nowhere and literally yanked me away from the seat saying that this was for 'press only'. I politely didn't show my ITB press badge, else his highness would have been even more annoyed. The Filipino 'engineer' charged with taking care of the seat was given a shouting by Al-B instructing him to only let 'press' touch the seat.
A few Lufthansa sales guys standing nearby who watched this couldn't stop grinning about how annoyed Al-B was

I agree. My post really wasn't meant to be an endorsement or lack of endorsement. I've always been one to say that the 99% is the most important audience. Whether that audience and a new QR biz seat mesh, I have no idea.

The kid TPG/Bankrate paid to attend last weeks LH A350 event was a joke... he was two steaps ahead of me, took a few pictures and then ran off the aircraft.

Proof of the garbage posting model:
"Ability to write, self-edit and publish a ~300-word news post in 30 minutes"
From a posting for a Senior Editor on
http://www.bankrate.com/careers/ for CC.com - The Points Guy
(Putting aside that a "Senior Editor" thus is neither "Senior" nor an "Editor", nor is it "news", and that "research" is not expected in the 30 minute period.)

So .... TPG did 12 articles yesterday. If they can be written in 30 minutes each, why do they employ 15 people?!
(And I did 4 articles yesterday with my staff of 2. I assume Ben did his usual 7-8.)

Presumably Brian has a personal assistant or two. So that's 3 people. Then there's an office manager. And then there is someone who looks to find Brian speaking gigs. Up to 5, and nothing has been written yet. There's probably someone whose job it is to read all of the other blogs and flyertalk and then post something they found there a day later. 6. There probably are also some other business relations folks - maintaining relationships with Starwood is a full time job, and Chase has 2 people.
